Dynamic Analysis of Rolling Bearings with Roller Spalling Defects Based on Explicit Finite Element Method and Experiment

Abstract Analysis of dynamic characteristics the defective bearing is significant for fault diagnosis machinery. At present, there are few researches on numerical modeling with roller. To solve this problem, explicit finite element method adopted in paper to establish a nonlinear model cylindrical roller spalling defects. In proposed model, flexibility all components, internal friction, relative sliding, size and rollers-to-cage contact force considered. Then verified theoretically experimentally. The vibration responses sliding behavior cage analyzed based model. results show that roller-to-cage will be increased slippage aggravated when defect occurs. addition, increment width number rollers aggravate cage.
